The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers recently joined in partnership with the
Toledo Family House. The Family House is a non profit community
service organization, dedicated to providing homeless families in
crisis with safe temporary housing and other needed services.
Keeping families together when it matters the most. Currently there
are 16 families, with over 60 children, being housed at this facility,

The Toledo Soldiers will provide and serve a complete Thanksgiving
meal to all the families housed at the Family House on Thanksgiving
day. Today, we had a great time grocery shopping with the Family
House chef. What an honor to be able to assist this great
organization and the families. Just doing what Soldiers and Troopers
do, keeping the Dream alive in the community we represent and it's
all good.
The Charleston West Virginia Buffalo Soldiers bagged
toiletries to take to men shelters ( Covenant House and
Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center) that consisted of razor,
toothpaste, tooth brush, deodorant, shaving cream, and
wash clothes and mouth wash etc.   We also went to
(Sojourners )that helps families get back on there feet. We
made bags with pampers, lotion, shampoo, toothbrush and
toothpaste etc.  We also went to Battered Women's and
dropped off toiletries that contained items for females, but
we were not able to take pictures at that location due to the
facility is a safe haven for women battered women.
